Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers fantastic rooms with well-appointed amenities like a smart TV, iPad with information, and a Bose music unit. The copper bath in the room provides a luxurious touch, and the views of Ely are stunning. However, the room size may be smaller than expected from online images, needing some updating.
The room was quite cold on the first morning due to the draft from the garden area, but the staff was lovely and very obliging. The hotel matched the Expedia price, which was a good deal, even though there were some stairs to navigate. The location offered excellent views of the cathedral and Oliver Cromwell's house, making it a great spot for special celebrations.
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were very stylish, clean, and comfortable, though it was a little cold in the mornings, especially near the garden doors. The staff was friendly and efficient, making our experience pleasant. The location was great, with fantastic views of the cathedral and Cromwell's House, but it did feel a bit understaffed at times. The dining experience was fantastic, with a lovely room and a massive bathroom, and the facilities were super. However, it would have been nice to have a full-length mirror in the room.
